A Tear in the Sky! By William I choose this picture of a space shuttle launching from a distance, but to me it’s a tear in the sky! I perceive many people looking at the sky, terrified and amazed at same time. Forgetting the soothing, calm waves that feel safe. The bright orange light in the sky shining in my eyes I hear the sound of the shuttle, roaring at about 120 decibels or more. I also hear the sound of mumbling people, wondering what is going on. I feel the heat pounding me with the wind. I feel unsafe and amazed, wondering if it’s truly a gash. Will the shuttle make it? There is so much I want to know. This reminds me of the meteor that impacted Earth and wiped out the dinosaurs. That is why I like this picture.
